We're off on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!
Save the date for our FRAC Family Campout this summer!
More details coming soon.
A team from FRAC is planning a trip to minister in the Dominican Republic from August 30- September 6, 2025.
The Dominican Republic has a rich heritage, with Christopher Columbus’ son, Bartholomew, founding Santo Domingo - the oldest Western city in the Americas. The city is home to over 3 million people, and only 11-12 percent have faith in Jesus as their Savior.
Our team will partner with Envision, part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, who is working with the local Dominican Alliance church. They will direct our ministry during our time there. The church there operates three main outreach ministries - the Greenhouse University student center, “One Child Development” centers, and the local church ministry.
We ask for prayer not just for while we’re there but also for our time of planning and getting to know our team. We invite you to please join our team as senders in helping us go serve in the DR.
THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT | Shelly Volkhardt
November 7-9, 2025| Glen Eyrie Conference Center
Join us as we retreat to the beautiful grounds of Glen Eyrie Conference Center where missionary, author, and speaker Shelly Volkhardt joins us to teach about growing in the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Shelly Volkhardt - Born in Taiwan to missionary parents, Shelly committed her life to Christ at 13 and felt a call as a missionary. While getting her B.A. in English at Biola, she spent summers on mission trips. She and her husband, Glen, have served with HCJB and now work with Paraclete in various capacities. They lived in Ecuador, Costa Rica, and now Colorado. She loves serving as a wife, mother to their now two grown sons - both married, and grandmother to their four grandchildren.. She enjoys singing, drama, reading, hiking, and walking. Her gifts include encouragement, teaching, and exhortation. Two of the books she co-wrote include “Holy Habits” and “Kitchen Table Counseling.” She loves to teach Bible studies for women hungry to deepen their walk with the Lord and to mentor, counsel, and encourage women - utilizing her certification as a facilitator of “Untying the Knots of the Heart," a 22 lesson journey for healing the wounds we carry.
