As we come together, our desire is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by offering songs of praise, by lifting our prayers to His gracious throne, and by hearing and contemplating the Word of God, which is given to strengthen our faith. We hope that each believer who enters this building will join us in the worship of our great God and Savior.
According to the Scripture, the purpose of Christian assemblies are edification (1 Cor. 14:26) and motivating one another to love and good deeds (Heb. 10:24,25). Those goals determine what we do during the services: which songs we choose to sing, who and what we pray for, which Scriptures are read, and when to include special presentations (such as music, needs, reports, etc.). We do not aspire to maintain one particular "style of worship," nor do we try to avoid another. We strive to honor Christ and encourage His people. We have no desire to entertain; rather we desire to engage the Lord Jesus and each other for His glory and our good.
